We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Email address (for account creation and communication)
• Password (hashed with bcrypt, never stored in plain text)
• Code snippets you choose to screenshot (processed in real-time, not retained unless you save them)
• Payment information (handled by Polar.sh, we do not store card details)

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the screenshot generation service
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts)
• To improve service performance and reliability

3. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting support. We use soft deletion (marking as deleted) for 30 days before permanent removal to allow for account recovery.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

• Polar.sh — payment processing
• Cloudflare R2 — image storage
• Supabase — database hosting
• Vercel — application hosting
